I believe I was born in this world to bring about change in the little ways I can. And today with my startup called “myHarvest”,am striving to connect people closer to nature, help them enjoy safe healthy food and let more people experience natural farming. Over the years I’ve followed my passion, shattered few barriers and tried my hands at all things that interested me. For the first time in 2012, I took the plunge into entrepreneurship and co-founded GeoVerge, at a tier III town called Virudhunagar. As an entrepreneur I learnt business & life lessons more from people than books. This phase helped me the realize how important & exciting it is in life to learn and not just earn.
I was blessed enough to have friends who together sowed the seeds for “BUDS” trust and laid the path to a journey of impacting rural people. BUDS is an acronym for “Be United, Do Service”.I draw inspiration from people like Mother Teresa, Bunker Roy, R Elango and Joe Madiath for showing me that “A single person can make a difference” . Thanks to Jagriti Yatra, I am very much connected to several social changemakers in India.
On the professional side, I’ve been lucky to work with amazing people who have played the role of a mentor, friend and have urged me to keep going strong & steady. We think that we are our own individual when the truth is we are not, from our social etiquette, to how we think, feel and act, we are what society makes us. Meeting people makes me happy and gives me new opportunities to learn new things.
