Vishala Reddy Vuyyala  had the incredible opportunity of exploring two worlds. As a Farmer’s Daughter, she was born in a village between the forest and the millet fields, grew up closer to nature and explored life at the grass-root level. Her curiosity to travel and meet people made her move to an urban setup. Here, my temperament of inquisitiveness and creativity took a new shape, which facilitated me in working in events & hospitality industry.  

As a hotelier and destination marketing consultant, she has extensively traveled across the world and worked for the Business Events Industry . Parallel to her commercial career with a passion for liveable places, she conceptualized and executed large city level civic engagement campaigns around “Urban Rejuvenation”, “Cycling”, “Pedestrian Rights” “Public Places Activation” “Culture Revival” and “Physical Literacy”. She has also founded a design center and culture creative industry network called “JAMITI” for place activation & community building.  

 Life came full circle for her when she reconnected with her roots. Now, she is  on a mission to revive nutritional diversity and culture through MILLET BANK (www.milletbank.in). Their goal is to revive & re-introduce Millets to One Million homes while contributing to the economic development of Dry-land Farmers, Artisans and Micro Entrepreneurs.
