An environmentalist and philanthropist turned entrepreneur, out of sheer love for the artform and empathy towards the village potter’s community in Pondicherry, initiated Clay & Glaze. Hailing from the quaint town of Pondicherry, Clay & Glaze was born from the ardent love for handmade crafts by Anamika Saraogi. She has a passion for anything creative and a keen eye for contemporary art. So, she started this homegrown brand in 2016 with a pursuit to promote stoneware and hand-moulded pottery and to unearth Pondicherry’s hidden gems – the gifted artisans and craftsmen.
